April Recap
First seasonal anime finished for April:
-
It's Haikyuu!! again and it never disappoints. Just a great as every other season with just as much excitement and beautifully designed characters.
- The OST including the OP and ED were again just as amazing as the previous seasons.
- Unfortunately, it left us on a cliff-hanger and have to wait until June for Top the Top S2.
- The manga is on its final arch was is saddening to hear but I cannot wait to see how Karasuno go at nationals.
- 10/10 -
Another seasonal anime:
- My Hero Academia is back at it again and is still going strong!
- The season got a little slow at the end but still great.
- The performance was amazing and warmed my heart to see Eri smile!
- OP was so fun to listen too and always put me in a good mood.
- Can't wait to see the class of 1-A and Endeavour develop in the next season
- 10/10 -
Finally not a seasonal anime:
-Nothing has really changed from my previous Food Wars reviews.
- I still enjoy it as much as the first season but I feel like I shouldn't for some reason, once again.
- The OP similar to the rest but at least the story is exciting.
- New characters were introduced wich spiced up the show.
- 8/10 -
Final seasonal anime for winter:
- Beautiful artwork and a tear-jerking storyline.
- The show is nothing like I've seen before and was refreshing from all the franchises I watch.
- The OST wasn't bad but it wasn't the most memorable.
- Cute characters like Somali!
- 7/10 -
More Food Wars:
- Such an exciting addition of Food Wars.
- Didn't know how I felt about the plot twist at first and made me feel kina angry but sad but I come t accept it.
- Left on a cliffhanger but luckily didn't have to wait for next season.
- Finally an alright OP, of course, the music was good but for once the visuals were kinda cool.
- 7/10 -
Even more Food Wars:
- Such an exciting continuation from last season. Had me on the each of the seats every shokugeki!
- Had such mixed emotions at the end. I wanted it to continue and see where the characters would go but at the same time, everything changed so quickly I couldn't process it.
- The best character development from every character and got to see more of Joichiro which was very exciting.
- Perfect timing as the next season comes out just as I finished this season.
- My opinion stays the same as every season on the OST.
- 9/10 -
Finally a new franchise:
- To tell the truth, I only started this show for Guren and he did go into my favourite character list.
- Hated the opening more than Food Wars but I am trying to listen to it more and hopefully it will grow on me.
- The storyline looked interested on paper but it got a little boring towards the middle when all it was, was Yu complaining about Guren but than towards the end it got better as they started to deeper explore the storyline with Yu losing control.
- A lot of people have called the show generic and I can't really argue. I don't believe the whole show is generic but definitely, some of the characters are.
- If the show had better characters I would have rated the show higher.
- 8/10 -
A short one:
- This promotional video is 6 minute of nostalgia for me. As Pokemon White 2 was the first Pokemon I played properly.
- As like many people I wish this could become I real anime.
- The background music really added to the action.
- 6/10 -
Couldn't get enough:
-What an exciting season but there is still much more to explore especially with my favourite character Guren! I hope to see another season coming soon.
- The soundtrack wasn't anything special but overall still a great show.
- Great interactions between Yu and Mika.

Random movie:
- Couldn't remember much of the storyline from season 1 but I slowly started to pick up different references.
- Had an exciting story and Mai was still just as cute, but the main boy, Sakuta just doesn't do it for me. His design is so meh but I like the development.
- Would recommend to those who have watched the first season.

Ending on another movie:
- After finishing To The Top and Haikyuu getting so much hype, I thought to revisit the past seasons without rewatching all 3 of them.
- I couldn't find the first two movies so I had to start at the third one.
- Still just as great as the original shows but I wouldn't recommend to anyone who is binge-watching every season as the movies are just recaps.
- Sad to hear the manga is up to the final arc but excited for next season!

And finally, it is over:
April was the school holidays so I was lucky enough to watch a few extra shows and finish off all the seasonal anime. I started next seasons shows and had quite a big line up but unfortunately, most have been postponed because of the coronavirus, so I will have to make up for that by watching some animes in my plan to watch!
