June Recap

Image
May ended and June started with a movie/series: Shikioriori -It's not very memorable and was hard to finish even though there was only three episodes. - Still it wasn't the worst anime I've ever watched. - The ramen looked delicious! -  6/10 -  After Cowboy Bebop: Samurai Champloo - Samurai Champloo did not disappoint. It was a refreshing show. - The music was something so new, and I enjoyed every hip hop beat the show had to offer. - The characters got more likable the further they got into their journey. - Episode 25 and 26 had me bawling, mainly because I could not predict the ending! - I didn't hate the ending but it was sad it, and made me cry again. - The show got 5th place in my favourites and Mugen got 3rd on my favourite character list! - Would recommend to everyone, if you haven't watched the show, you're missing out. -  9/10 -  A season anime: Kakushigoto (TV) - Such a heart warming show with a kind of weird yet simple en...

May Recap

Image
April ended and May started with a movie: Tenki no Ko - I finally got to watch this movie and it is incredible. - Such a perfect soundtrack and the artwork was of course immaculate. - Loved the little references to Your Name as well. - Such a unique storyline and would recommend to everyone. - The suspense was a little predictable but still had me watching with all my attention. -  8/10 -  The TikTok hype made me: Given - After the whole anime community on Tik Tok talking about this show I had to watch and it was apart of my watch challenge - Where do I even start with this show - Before I give it all my love and praise the art style threw me off at the start, it reminded me of Konbini Boyfriend and that was something else but it proved me wrong. - The story line is at such a great pace and you slowly grow to love every character but then all of a sudden you reach episode and a whole new appreciation for the characters is developed. - Episode 9 made me ...

April Recap

Image
First seasonal anime finished for April: Haikyuu!!: To the Top - It's Haikyuu!! again and it never disappoints. Just a great as every other season with just as much excitement and beautifully designed characters. - The OST including the OP and ED were again just as amazing as the previous seasons. - Unfortunately, it left us on a cliff-hanger and have to wait until June for Top the Top S2. - The manga is on its final arch was is saddening to hear but I cannot wait to see how Karasuno go at nationals. -  10/10 -  Another seasonal anime: Boku no Hero Academia 4th Season - My Hero Academia is back at it again and is still going strong!  - The season got a little slow at the end but still great. - The performance was amazing and warmed my heart to see Eri smile! - OP was so fun to listen too and always put me in a good mood. - Can't wait to see the class of 1-A and Endeavour develop in the next season -  10/10 -  Fina...

March Recap

Image
March started off with watching:   Shokugeki no Souma: Ni no Sara OVA - Still enjoying Food Wars but I feel like I shouldn't for some reason. It was only an OVA so 2 episodes but was stile exciting seeing all the characters relaxing together. - Luckily there was no opening music. - Not much content but prepared me for the next season. -  6/10 -  Went to the movies to watch: Boku no Hero Academia the Movie 2: Heroes:Rising - So exciting to see the students being actual heroes, especially if you think back to the start of the school year, the growth is excellent. - The ending wasn't excepted but was really epic! - Was released midway through the 4th season so the movie was a nice break. -  9/10 -  The first seasonal anime of the year completed: Jibaku Shounen Hanako-kun - Love, love, love this show. - It went straight to my favourites as well as the main character Hanako-kun going to my top characters as well! - H...

February Recap

Image
February started off with watching:   Shokugeki no Souma: Ni no Sara - Still enjoying Food Wars with more characters development and extremely entertaining storyline. - But again the OP was doing anything for me. I like the song but not the visuals. - Would again recommend. -  9/10 -  And that is all: I was mainly watching the seasonal anime and with school, I didn't have enough time to start new anime apart from Food Wars S2. March will have the first seasonal anime and some new ones too!

January Recap

Image
January started off with watching:   Haikyuu!!: Riku vs. Kuu - With only two episodes, Haikyuu!! Riku vs. Kuu was a great reminder of how awesome Haikyuu!! is, ready for the next season. - This is essential to watch for the next season (Haikyuu!! To the Top) as it introduces new characters. -  8/10 - I then got the blessing to watch: Cowboy Bebop - If you haven't watched this classic anime, you're missing out!  - Best OST of all time and rose to my second favourite anime shortly after completing it! - Loveable characters and captivating storyline.   - 10/10 - I couldn't get enough of Cowboy Bebop:   Cowboy Bebop: Tengoku no Tobira - It was had to find this movie in good quality so I think that spoiled the viewing of the movie but still stays true to Cowboy Bebop.   - New characters and storyline that goes for just long enough before it could become boring.   - 8/10 - At this point I started the My...
